The Responsible Urban Intelligence (RUI) Lab focuses on the research of GeoAI and Urban Informatics based on multisource and multimodal data. Our ultimate goal is using GIScience and AI responsibly to help build human-centred smart cities for the benefit of society.
Our new submission on “A Coarse-to-Fine Approach for Urban Land Use Mapping Based on Multisource Geospatial Data” has been accepted by the International Conference on Geoinformatics 2022. The first author of the submission is our MSc student Qiaohua Zhou. Her research interests are smart city, Geo big data and GeoAI.
Our new submission on “Assessing University Campus Design Qualities from Open Geospatial Data: Case Studies in Hong Kong” has been accepted by the International Conference on Geoinformatics 2022. The first author of the submission is our MSc student Jeff Lau. His research interest is urban modelling with BIM and GIS.
