I’m Roy LAU. In 2008, I completed my bachelor’s degree study of engineering in Product Analysis with Design (now known as BEng in Product and Industrial Engineering). Recently, I completed my master’s degree study of science in Geomatics (Geographic Information Systems). Both disciplines equip me with scientific and technical knowledge to assist my work, currently as a contract programmer in Lands Department of HKSAR. Particularly in my work, I was involved in HKSAR COVID-19 data updating and maintenance, now I am working to assist development and maintenance of tools in GIS software and I have been brainstorming so well to receive new knowledge and make contribution. Outside my working hours, I personally like engaging in physical activities like boxing and hiking, which can definitely improve and strengthen my health and will to face every challenges in future.
